Darker Side of Life

What once was a land full of life and wonders
Now is a desert barren as death
My heart that was once so full of joy
Is now dark and dead

The love I felt from everyone
Filled my once lively heart
The hurt I felt after those days
Caused the love to depart

I been to the darker side of my life
And I do not think i could get away
From the pain the sufferings
That caused my soul to go astray
