I lay here in the night air
looking up at each bright star,
and wonder what you're doing
where you've been or where you are.
you left my side a while ago,
but my heart won't let you go.
I'm sad and lonely without you,
but i try not to let it show.
i lay here thinking of you
as i drift off to sleep,
you might be gone for now
but the memories I'll always keep.
