The Nights Sorrow

by Kevin Fitz   Apr 30, 2006

The Nights Sorrow

The nights sorrow slowly drifts in
So I bow my head in reflection
Upon what might have been

Your hands, they held my heart in place
Mend these wounds that are buried deep inside
Because without Your touch their is only disgrace
And the impeccable shame I can no longer hide

You are all I need for this dark night
Even if it is just Your silence to hear my cries
Beautiful Saviour, make everything right
Because without Your love everything dies

But questions still linger on my lips
Are those Your arms I feel around me
Will you be the Lighthouse amongst my sinking ships
Can your love truly set me free

The nights sorrow has me question what I know
But it's still so hard to let my own life go
Into Your hands I commit my life.
