Oh moon with such jealous eyes
Gazing down upon me
I look at you in the dark sky's
Shining bright for all to see
You leave each day
And return by night
I love you dear moon, but you cannot stay
Please do not be mad for it's time for the light
But I trust you my dearest moon
For you are like my one true love
Ever so softly singing me a heavenly tune
And returning to me like a magical dove
I will forever so stay by your side
But please don't ever get arrogant or to much pride
