The one girl I'm not

by Julia   May 1, 2006

Sitting alone in a corner
noone around to ease my fear
you walk in the room with another
dont bother enough to come near

its obvious im not your passion
its plain im not part of your soul
so instead of joining in the party
i act as if im on parole

you smile with soul for the one girl
to you im nothing but a toy
so i shall hide, heart ripped wide open
screaming in pain caused by this boy

i got up my courage enough once
to get up and ask for a dance
you declined and turned around waiting
eyeing one girl heart full of romance

sometimes you may pretend you love me
but you just do it to be done
for her you would go beyond limit
wed battled for you; she had won

you never cared enough to show it
you looked away when i gave heart
for her you show love beyond measure
cant you see im tearing apart?

i tell you of stories and wishes
i try to ask you of your own
you ignore me heart full of longing
for the one girl; so im all alone

your eyes light up with deep excitement
when she is around you\'re with her
im tossed away at each occasion
when im around, im unpreferred

i guess joy was never meant for me
i guess maybe im just a girl
you will always be loved in my heart
as for me; im not part of your world.
