I open my eyes and its black as night
feeling the sting as i hold my wrist tight
i feel the blood dripping out of my vains
as i remember everything in a daze
i watch as it falls to the floor
telling myself that i want more
i open my mouth and take a deep breath
knowing im one step closer to death
i open my eyes and see a bright light
and i hear people yelling that i have to fight
im laying down looking with nothing to say
inside my mind i start to pray
i open my mouth as i try to scream
this cant be more then a bad dream
i close my eyes as voices fade
letting go of promises made
