Empty promises

While in bed, staring i at the white wall next to me.
listening to the rain drops outside my window
I am confused, just a week ago you promised me the world. Promised to love me unconditionally
promised to never leave
promised to never hurt me
promised to show me love
but today
Today i lay drowning in my tears
today i lay wondering how i allowed you to open my heart and step on it.
Today tears flowed because you broke my heart!!
