Poem about mom

I see her sitting there with tears in her eyes
Not saying a word just letting out silent sighs
Feeling lost and feeling hopeless
What did she do to deserve this
All there is are screams and fights
Making it hard to sleep at night
I can tell in her eyes that she's holding back pain
Telling herself she has nothing left to gain
She tries her best to keep herself strong
But she knows every thing's gone
I sit there and watch things go from bad to worse
And I'm there to take it out on first
I take it in and let her yell
Thinking yet again I have failed
I see her there asking is its wrong or right
And all I want to do is hold her tight
i wish I knew to make it go away
But for now all I can say is that its okay
