Leaving

by Logan   May 1, 2006

I'm sitting here wondering if I should leave tomorrow
You do the math
Think about it, it would minimize the huge amount of sorrow
That has been placed upon our behalf

I just knew I had to tell you this, just not so blatenly
Just hint at certain things
I'm leaving with a presence so heavenly
Although I am an angel with broken wings

I am not leaving for good
Our paths will cross again
Its ending how I always dreamt it would
And for this dream, it isn't the end

Cause when our paths cross there will be a huge line of fire
That's right between me and you
The line separates the truthful person from the liar
And there isn't anythign you can do

Except make things right, nowBefore I completley leave
If you did make it right, I'd say "WOW"
It would be so hard to believe

IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN SO I GUESS I'LL JUST LEAVE!!!

An interesting poem with a lot of emotion put into it. I felt like the flow was a bit rocky, but that also seemed to work as you were trying to portray the frazzled thoughts of someone's mind, decided if the were going to leave or stay. Staying is always the best idea, just as a bit of advice from someone who has seen a lot of the world and messed up a great deal already on my own.
