It sounds like this poem is from personal experience, so my heart cries out for you Vanessa. It is so difficult to have someone leave you, and from the sound of this poem that person took their own life. Death is so hard to understand because we that keep living are left to live without the one we lost, and yes it sucks, a lot. It is one of, if not the hardest thing we have to deal with in our own lives. Having someone leave us can help us understand the value of our own life and life in general, so we can live it to the fullest until the end.
