The Red Rose

by ღтεεиαgε тяαgεdуღ   May 2, 2006

5 dozen pink roses
All are tied in bows;
Oh, but one is left;
An imperfect red rose

All the pink roses are perfect;
Every thorn and petal in place.
But the red rose has flaws;
And is thrown out in such disgrace

The pink roses look at her...
They all begin to frown;
Just because she's not the prettiest
Or skinniest girl around

But the red rose stands out;
She's not like the rest;
She can only be herself;
And at that, she is the best

The red rose stands alone
And takes a look around;
She dares to be different.
She doesn't follow the crowd.

All 60 pink roses;
Tied neatly in bows;
But there is still one left...
The unique red rose

Stand out and make your mark;
Remember the fact:
You are who you are;
And no one can change that....

So...its about just standing out. And not caring what people think. Just be yourself.
