All packed up ready to go, she left.
With the smell of hair spray mixed with cheap perfume trailing behind her.

Cruising, crossing the light brown meadows cascaded by the light of the beaming sun.

The smooth rhythmic tunes leapt from the battered, dusty speakers and danced round to every facet of the car.

Hands, shaking with the mindset on go, along every bend and swerve down the vacant roads.
Eyes straight ahead, never shifting to look back at what she was leaving behind.
The breeze flushing in, sending a beauty filled scent of warm summerâ??s breath right through her.

Her mind pleading for some peace, to silence the constant pounding that never seemingly ceased.

Staring blank as the sun began to fade, shaping into stars stretched over the vast open sky.
And all she could do was laugh; hoping things might be of a different light this time
