My Safest Place To Hide

I found a place to hide from everything
Everything that makes me cry
A feeling to stay hidden

Somewhere so far that no one will ever know
Keeping that distance, I may not come back
It's where no one will even think to look.

I'm finally feeling accepted
By ones who understand me
I'm right above you

Here Iam, see me?
Look up as far as u can
Iam the sky, Iam the clouds

Lifeless , and breathless
But unknown to those who dont look up
I hide at night, as well as cry

During the day hours
I try to be someone I'm not
I try to much, and I try not enough

But The sky is my safe place
Where I'm accepted
And not alone

When I cry
I cry on everyone
and I know, that somewhere, someone else is too.

It's my safest place to hide..
Above and beyond
The sky is my place, where I wish for dreams to come true.
