Wandering

by Bethan   May 2, 2006

Wandering across the planes of time,
Discovering meaning without rhyme,
Past and future here combine,
An unknown force has blurred the line,

Despair and torment at their peak,
Joy and hope now obsolete,
Through mist and fog and winds so bleak,
Lost souls search for what they seek,

Through lands left barren and bare,
Not a soul remains to care,
You don't exist not here nor there,
You're nowhere and yet everywhere

You could be in another dimension,
An in-between before ascension,
Another world held in suspension,
Beyond our basic comprehension,

But I'll tell you a secret that I know,
I visited this place long ago,
And one day you too may go
To this land so-called Limbo.

Love, that was great! i loved it. the wording was brilliant and the story is enchanting. i wish i could write like this. i keep hoping that reading other people's work will restore me to my former glory, but i think its gone for good. its a shame, i had one thing i was mildly good at and now i have nothing...figures. well, as i said, its a wonderful poem.
