Look at all the pretty shades
Of the deepest black and blue
Swarming all around me
As the darkness I fall through

Look at all the angels
As they're falling from the sky
Once white wings burned to ashes
They hit the cold hard earth & die

Watch the scarlet river
As it washes away the pain
Hide the gleaming blade
The only thing that keeps me sane

See the teardrops glisten
As they drop onto the ground
One moment of pure perfection
Among the heartache all around

Kiss away the anguish
Let the feeling soothe your heart
Make the blissful moment last
Before it tears your world apart

Feel his hands upon your skin
Tracing your scars with his fingers
It's only your virginity he takes
But all the pain he caused still lingers

Drink away your problems
Numb the tattered soul inside
Laugh like you're a child again
Even if you want to run and hide

It's all insignificant
It doesn't matter what you do
