Tell Our Lies

by manic moments   May 3, 2006

Leave your lies
Lying around the room
The spirit dies
In darkness, we loom

We hold on strong
The hope we had
In remorse, I am fond
In sorrow, I am sad

Hair in my eyes
Covering my view
In the wind, it flys
The sun has many hues

Facing each other
Trying to look inside
I see my lover
But sorrow beside

I hope you see
The happiness I feel
It is the masters key
To make my heart heal

Clutch my hand
Feel this hope within
Try and understand
Why I now must sin

Hold me close
As I tell my own lies
The love in your eyes slowly dies

"I'm sorry"
I whisper
You turn away in a hurry
No longer your loving helper

You walk away
There is no point of calling
I know what your going to say
The tears keep falling

On that day
We told each other our secrets
But things I had to say
Make me have regrets

Now you know
And now you leave
The lies I had to show
You honour I decieve

Alone in my room
Slowly quaking with tears
The feeling of doom
Such pure fears

I leave my lies
Lying around the room
Your love dies
In darkness, alone, I loom

Comparing how I feel
To the way the Sun sets
It doesnt sound so real
With your love, I have many debts

There is no more bond
For the hope we had
In remorse, I am fond
INn sorrow, I am sad
