An angel

Seven years, seven skies,
The little girl no longer cries.
She is adult, yet a child inside,
She has learned to no longer hide.
She knows she has to live, knows she has to die,
But she can't help but miss you, even thought you told a lie.
An angel didn't come, and angel didn't talk,
When you spoke you spoke, but you didn't walk the walk.
You said you'd send an angel, to help her gain her strength,
Now she know she can't trust it, she can't believe it the length.
She wishes she would have said the words she didn't say,
She wishes she would have dared, she wishes every day.
But now she sees and angel, deep down her heart,
She just didn't notice, it was there from the start.
"Ill always be with you" the beautiful angel sings,
"Don't worry, I didn't lie, you will get you're wings"
