A Lovers Flame--

Heres my heart felt confession that i make,
i let my guard down,
put everything at stake,

i tried my best to contain it all,
To seem like everything was OK,
but all that keeps happening, is that i trip.. i fall..

i promise you the life you wanted to live and the world,
i tried to live up to the standard,
but yet here i am.. this fragile, battered girl..

to give or take was my heart,
wasn't worth much..
but i couldn't bear it to be torn apart..

and there you were this kind of guy..
you transfixed me,
to love me forever.. you said you'd try,

offering each other ourselves and more,
to live our lives with one another,
the love that keeps growing between us, everybody saw..

for our love is pure and deep,
to burn on for eternity in the scorching flame..
it wont ever leak out..not even one seep..
