Tell me that you belive in Christ

I\'ve always tried to do everything for the other person...
never looking for anything for me...
always expecting the world....
and being let down time and time again...
i just want to feel like i don\'t have to die for love....
like i don\'t have to strive for love...
because that isn\'t love at all...
striving is work...
and dying is the end...
neither word has any place for love in it....

so please tell me that i don\'t have to lay down my life for you...
that i don\'t have to constantly explain myself to you....
can we just share emotions and trust without questions....
but if you really want to know...
i will tell you....
there is nothing in this world that i would hold back from you...

i just feel so exhausted from this weight on my shoulders...
i want you to be my relief... my security....
i know that you want the same from me....
and i cant promise you anything but love...
i am human...
i am fallible...
i fall short all the time....
I\'m not perfect...
I\'m not everything...
but i want so much to be accepted....

with acceptance comes trust...
and with trust there is no doubt...
with no doubt there is only faith...
with faith there is a undying assurance....
a unconditional love from God...

and i think there is one thing that love should be based on...
God.

He is my reason that i still am living...

because without Him...
i wouldn\'t have you in my life....
