That night

When I remember his face,
I remember that night I remember that place.
In all those people, in all that fun.
He stood out, he was the only one.
There was temptation where ever I could see,
But he was perfect, if anyone could be.
In all my faun and enjoyment,
By and by time went.
I had to leave I couldn't stay,
Slowly and steadily, he also went away.
There wasn't any moment worse to come,
I remember him and the song I hum.
The song was so lively and nice,
With the lyrics that were so wise.
It all happened and nothing can be done.
I would always stay in the darkness, even though there are the bright rays of the sun.
The thing I most regret,
Is that I couldn't be friends with him, which was the least I could get.
During the fun I had all that while,
I forgot one last time, see him smile.
If god would grant me one thing for sure,
I would wish to see him smile, just once more.
