Spring Night of Love

by Benjamin Ishmael   May 4, 2006

The wind blows swiftly across the moon lit lake
As we sit by the old oak tree
We talk about the memories we shared
While the stars sparkle from above.

Your soft spoken voice is flowing
Eyes opening up to reveal your soul
Smiles that show love is in the air
No doubt that something special is there.

The wind whistles and the moon shines above
As we hold each other close
The soft touch of your warm embrace
Has both hearts pounding as one

Our lips meet one another
The love is enough to keep us warm
Holding close to the one you adure
More than words could ever express

The wind blowing and the sky is bright
The love between us is such a sight
Don't ever let one another go
For love can never be put on hold
