Release

This release,
is so powerful,
I'm finding myself hopelessly addicted.
And I don't care, because I like it.

And they,
they don't live in my mind.
So they just don't understand,
As I do, as you do,
that we would be dead without it.
It's our little secret.

This release,
is so powerful,
that it's taking over my entire existence.
But I don't care.
Because I like it.

Yeah it's kinda vague, I wrote it this way on purpose, in an attempt to avoid it sounding like a cliche. :)

    Different style. Kinda different content. But still really enjoyed it quite a bit. Not really as good as I hoped but it delivered. Written quite well to have this...vagueness that made it able to be applied for many different things.

    This is good. i like the was it is written so that it can be taken in any way depedning on the reader. and its written well. i esp like the middle stanza. its very good. nice job!

    For some reason this struck a chord with me, I suppose we all have our habits, some worse than others. This is a great poem, the structure and length make it extremely effective, I really liked it. Thanks for your comment on my poem btw x
