SHOTS

Some memories are fun
some are real happy
but mine are quite sad
my memories are torture

Too dreadful to bare
I fear for my life
along with all yours
for I have no limits

I’ve had these memories
for far too long
it maybe time
or it maybe too late

I have sought help
with barely a result
my problem has push them
over the edge or far beyond

You may say I overreact
but how would u feel
if you had no soul
and had dome something wrong

I have a story
a real tragic one
it includes a death
and a stain on my name

It was a dark moonless night
there was no power
no lights to see with
we all used candles

I was in my study
with my nose in a book
when out of no where
I heard a gun shot

I ran down the stairs
swung open the door
and there lay my dear wife
with a gunshot wound

it was a terrifying sight
I ran to her side
put my hand on her wound
and prayed to god

I heard tires squeal
I knew who it was
I picked up the gun
and shot three times

So that is my story
it’s sad but true
I killed the driver
it should have been me...
