I walk Alone

by Cynthia   May 4, 2006

I walk alone
watching the blissful evil I sought
Without knowing,
I hide,
behind the shadows of empty fear

I walk alone,
welcoming the dark presence of time
Forgetting the past,
I silence,
each piercing cry in the icy darkness

I walk alone
tasting the pleasant warmth of solitude
Screaming in pain,
I cry,
in a place where light no longer exists

I walk alone,
to hide the hate of truth entwined
With others fate,
I caper,
with the precious strings of life

I walk alone,
begining the end of opposition
Rebellion began,
I fought,
for truth and freedom that never came

I walk alone,
feeling the presence of my thoughts
Giving up now,
I tried,
but life became my hated fears

I walk along,
now and forever until the end
What's endeavor,
I know,
my fate is that which never ends
