Nice. The last stanza is a little long, but the actual poem is alright. I liked the straight and to the point approach - thought it went nicely with the frustration the poet is trying to get across to the reader. |
Well love this poem was already for me, but I would have loved to see it have a great deal of depth. Unfortionately this is a well used topic, so inorder to write a poem like this you really have to write it well if you want it to stand out and make an impression. Focus on the vivid detail and less on your rhyme scheme. There is nothing wrong with rhmye, but if it gets in the way of really giving the poem life I would shy away from it. Write emotions into your poetry so the reader will go through the emotions when reading. Just some thoughts. |
Hey Cayce! I love this poem! I can relate to it! I think everybody is like this at one point in life ya know? We are all searching for ourselves and waiting for someone to bring us out of our little shells. Well i hope you post more soon I love your work. |

Short and sweet. The anger, desperation and fraustration jumps out through the few stanzas. Great write. 5/5 |

Very sad poem. I know how it feels. I've written poems like that before. Look around my stuff, and you might find something you can relate to. |
