Choices Underneath

by Tasha   May 5, 2006

She sits here all alone, waiting for eternity.
Holding back the tears that will fall to the sea.
She dips her hands into the water.
Hoping that the world will not stop her.
She is scared of how the waves will feel.
For her heart might sink as if steel.
The wind is blowing, her thoughts are drifting away.
But no need to rush she'll be gone by the day.
She takes her last breath, as she slides into the deep.
For the sea now has her body to keep.
As she slowly sinks below.
Saying good-bye to all she knows.
She wonders, how long will it be?
For the water to take my life from me.
As she sinks down even more.
Until she hits the seas floor.
She starts to see the world a bit more blurry.
She has few seconds to decide, she now begins to worry.
Should she stay below and let it all be over?
Or reenter this world as an even more pushover? -
