Reminiscing

by Queen   May 5, 2006

Walked right by with eyes in contact,
holding it still until we are are both lost in the crowd.
He looks away and I daze off
to spark a conversation would be life
So divine in its time
Lost in those mischievous eyes
Oh how wonderful it would be to have you be mine

What are the chances that we feel the same?
The only question that remains;
does fate own this game?

She feels so much inside
The feeling of wanting,
But not having
Would it be easier if I let go?
She wonders, I'll sail to my desire

She sailed her boat, drifting and drifting
She doesnt know where she is seafaring
Nor how the flow of the waves will go,
But she just wants to hold on
To that temptation
Of a false motility

Why do I have to let go?
I know it wont go anywhere,
but do I not have the right
To dream, to feel, to deem?
Is that not all that we own in this life; are feelings?

Let me desire!
Let me just believe for once
No matter how surreal it is
Let the sea thrive my thirst
And leave me to breathe.
I dont want veracity!

    Also, we 'own' our Attention....

This is a lovely, sincere delivery.......

(I think you may have meant :
'and leave me to breathe'...... oui?)
