A Teenager Defined.

by Kelly   May 5, 2006

Blood runs down the windowpane, the sky cries crimson tears
Washing away unforgiveable wrath, entrapping loathesome fears

Thirst-quenching hearts, waiting to be loved
Angels are descending, once belonging to above

Spreading my wings, I'll soon learn how to fly
Everything you'll never know, is hidden behind these eyes

Moments lost in time, like tears lost in the rain
The memories making me crazy, are the only ones keeping me sane

Scratches on these walls, bruises on these throats
Cuts made on these arms, representing suicide notes

Reality turns into a dream, slowly beginning to fade
Sins and regrets forgotten, a debt to soon be paid

Cuts and scars are displayed, suicidal signs
Broken promises, tears of sorrow, a teenager defined.

Numbing the pain with pills, altering a twisted nightmare
Eyes are searching for lost answers, fixed in a shattering stare

Crossing my heart, with false hopes
high
My only wish is to be, a beautiful suicide
