The Beauty of Sorrow

by Dallian   May 5, 2006

I wonder if the sky turns gray for me
And if the sun goes down to give
Me something to connect to.
I wonder if the leaves fall down
Just because my heart falls like these
Withered leaves.
If, in fact, they do,
Then i’ll keep on crying
My nights will still be lonely
And my thoughts will still be dark.
If i’m the cause of sunsets,
If i’m the reason for the rain,
Then let me still keep dying
And let my heart still pain.
If the beauty of the earth must stem
From the tears i cry inside,
Then let my broken sadness
Continue.
Let the sunsets rise.
