I, The Successor

by Lecadia   May 6, 2006

In darkness, my soul is graven
Engulfed by flames in the night
Emitting radiant castaways
From this violent light
Utterance, speaking in words
Her soul: torn into five
Oh now, will you please be mine?
Struggle to stay alive
Curiosity in twelve pairs
Pairs of eight and three
One short of what she thought
But shorter of what she thought of me
Deepening gouges in his flesh
Do not cry, lovely Mighn
Inadequate fears of home and time
Sought out, like thee and thine
