Missing Pieces

by Fredaeya   May 6, 2006

So she feels a little lonely and her life's a little lost...
The truths written in her puzzle and her puzzles in the box
And she's slowly losing pieces as she battles though the storm
And she brings her puzzle closer and she hugs it to keep warm
And she's head on to the wind as the rain decides to fall
And she's running, running faster, to save her puzzle from this squall,
And the pieces keep on falling, all the pieces from her box,
And so her life, it keeps on slipping, slowly wasted, slowly lost,

And the missing pieces of her puzzle, she couldn't find them on the ground,
And so she keeps on running to a place that can't be found,
And she's slowly losing pieces as she battles through the storm,
And she brings her puzzle closer and she hugs it to keep warm,
And she only keeps on running because she has nowhere to go,
And the rain it keeps on pouring hiding tears she'll never show,
And the puzzles now in pieces, and the box now washed away,
And she's jogging, slowly jogging, just to make it through each day,
And so she feels a little lonely and her life's a little lost,
The truths written in her puzzle and her puzzles in the box..

Another brilliant poem, sad but really good.
The way you use the imagery in your poems is really interesting and i liked the idea of the puzzle pieces throughout this poem, keep writing
