Precious Childhood Wasted

by Beverly Chapman   Feb 11, 2004

Her precious childhood gone
Wasted in a minute
When someone handed her a beer
And said now just sip it
The one drink of beer
Ignited a fire
Which burned up her life
Deep down inside her
She continued drinking
She drank until dawn
When the party came to end
She could not move on
She continued drinking
Forgot other aspects of life
Late one night in an alley
She got raped with a knife
Pointed at her heart
He took the last piece
Of her innocence that was left
Her virginity
Now with her life gone
She cannot relive
The innocent days of youth
She thinks her family
Wont forgive
She takes the gun
And points it at her head
Says good bye
I'm better off dead
