A world falling apart

Shivering in fear,
The mist is not that clear,
The things we do deny,
We cover up, with a simple lie.

The lies coming from inside,
Lies about friends who haven't died,
Trying to cover yourself up with excuses,
While someone squeezes out their bloody juices.

The pain and agony on their face,
Looks like you hit them, with a mace..
You hit him across the heart..
And now his world, is falling apart.

You don't care what happened to the guy,
As you have just told us.. another lie..
Pathetic through our eyes, marvelous through yours..
But we're not the ones.. hiding behind doors.

Forgetting to forgive, and living to regret,
And now you've done it.. you've made another threat..
A threat to society, a threat to life,
Why not just kill yourself.. here; I'll hand you the knife.

    ^that's^ my favorite stanza.

    this poem is good. you keep improving more and more. =)
