Every now and then,
I escape into the land of thought,
And I think
When you break away from our gaze-
Do your eyes travel to the same land where your heart hides?
While sleeping heart to heart,
Your heartbeat is lonely,
As if it beats without purpose,
Almost as if you were dead,
Does your soul leave?
In escape from me
Am I unbearable?
Or does your heart simply belong to another?
No gesture could ever amount to,
A piece of your heart
And a part of your soul
But actions are much more than words
No amount of convincing or arguments
Could ever equal to you simply showing-
Nothing material and again no words
I want the innocence in your eyes-
To reveal the truths of your heart
To whisper the secrets-
You could never tell another
Including me-
Because the child in you
Trust me-
And the man you are
Lets him
Its all I need-
It may be a lot maybe even too much too ask of you
But its all I ask from you
All I will ever ask from you
