Confused

When I see you I get sad
When I'm away from you the pain just increases even more
I know I can't have you
and yet I hold on...
but all I get out of it is pain
no matter what I do
so should I just give up in everything I've ever wanted and be miserable?
or should I hold on and be miserable?
I don't know what to do anymore
the pain is just to much
