Sometimes I lie awake
wondering what difference I make in the world
and realize
that I really don't make any.
If i were gone tomorrow
I don't think it would affect anyone
none of my friends seem to care right now
why would they care if I'm gone?
sure, my family would miss me
but nobody else will
everyone will just live their lives
the way they do everyday
and not even notice
that I'm gone
by the time they pause to think of me
it might already be too late.
should I stay? or should i go?
a question that i often ask
it seems either way won't matter
as no one cares anyway.
