Daddy's Little Girl

Father's day is coming again,
Another day i dread,
How can in look forward to it,
When the one i call dad is dead,

He died eleven years ago,
Cancer took his life,
The pain he went through was terrible,
And he finally lost his fight,

We tried to help him as much as we could,
Do anything to find a cure,
But God just wasn't on our side,
Why he took my dad I'm not sure,

There's no logical explanation,
Why take a man so good,
A man people looked up to,
A man who gave so much love,

But God suddenly turned evil,
He wanted a taste of the dark,
But on his path to self discovery,
He managed to break my heart,

He broke my heart into pieces,
Shattered my entire world,
But even though he's torn us apart,
I'll always be daddy's little girl.
