Will you ever read this poem? Will you ever care?
Will you ever understand that I have always been there?

Will you ever answer the phone when I call? Will you ever call?
Will you ever pick my up, after making me fall?

Will you ever hug me? Or comfort me when I'm scared?
Will you ever love me? Or accept all that I've shared?

Will you ever come and see me? Will you ever see?
Will you ever make an effort, to make it work with me?

Will you ever kiss me goodnight?
Will you ever stand up for me, when I'm in need or in a fight?

Will I ever be able to tell you all this stuff,
Will I ever confront you? Will I ever be that tough?
