Cat

My baby girl,
An orange ball of fluff,
She makes me feel whole
When the going gets tough.

She loves me when he doesn't,
And though only a cat,
Makes me feel irreplaceable
By purring by my feet.

This love is unconditional
And can never be destroyed,
The bond between a human
And the animal they love.
