When God needs to cleanse the earth,
he opens up the heavens and allows it to rain.
I wonder if I opened my eyes and cried,
would tears wash away my pain.
My pain comes in many forms and people,
whom demonstrated efficiently that they didnt care.
They started out with great intentions, but when
the road got tough, they left, no one was there.
Tho at times it gets hard, especially when teaching about love, seeing how i have been given many promises to recieve it forever.
But Ive only ended up with small doses and temporary samples,
I cant say that Im bitter or filled with rage
In a perfect world, I would be able to cry,
and tears would wash away my pain.
But things arent so perfect, so I face the sky,
then I pray to God, could you send down some rain?
