Open Your Eyes

Open Your Eyes

Open your eyes.
Breathe in reality.
Things arent what they seem.
Quick before you out of time,
come back from your mental holiday.
Look outside the box, be original.
stray away from the hollow life you live.
I beg you, dream and differ from the rest.
Believe what you please,
not what your told.
Stop trying to pull of this charade,
no one is perfect.
Be unique, embrace your flaws.
Break free from your mundane life.
Have a little faith.
Stop singing your internel song of misery.
Accept today, as it is, forget about tomorrow,
it will come soon enough.
Open your eyes.
Breathe in reality.
For today is the coming of the rest of your life

Arent you happy now?
I bet you see things differently,
the sky, ocean, trees, fields.
The people, their faces, what they say, how they say it.
Arent you glad you opened you eyes?
Took that rejuvinating breath.
Broke free from that box.
But, i ask of you one favor,
take what you know and enlighten others.
Create a chain,
a chain of awakeing.
Rip them away from their hollow lives,
but not with force.
Cajole them with soothing words,
words that will relieve their aching souls.
For then they will listen,
help them break apart this human mold.
Bring a rebirth to the masses.
