Just One More Hand Me Down

by Jamin Huchingson   May 8, 2006

I've been used and discarded
Been loved and broken hearted
Passed from one person to another
They've all out grown
The seams I've sown

And I'm just one more hand me down
Tired of being passed around
Scared that no one wants
Just one more hand me down

Someone a little frayed and torn
With signs shown from being worn
I've been handled with no concern
Damaged; with a couple burns

I'm just one more hand me down
Tired of being passed around
Torn and frayed
And afraid
That no one wants
Just one more hand me down

Been washed over and over again
Clean to dirty and back again
But these holes show
What I'm afraid that everyone knows

I'm just one more hand me down
Who's been wronged
And is tired of being passed around
So I'm going to lay all my burdens down
I'm just one more hand me down
