The pain she will forever feel part 1

by cassandra   May 8, 2006

She silently cries inside,
Not knowing what to do,
Scared to tell everyone, or,
Anyone at that matter,
The pain she goes through.

The pain that slowly kills her,
Kills her each and every day,
Kills her because there is nothing,
Nothing she can do to make the pain go away.

Everyone wonders why she\'s so quiet,
Wonders why she hardly ever smiles,
Some may think she\'s weird,
But no one truly knows the truth,
The truth of what causes her pain.

Too afraid to tell the truth, she hides it,
Hides it all inside for three long years,
Finally she can\'t take it anymore,
She tells her brother of the pain,
The pain she\'s felt for so long.

She was so naive people say,
They say she should have told earlier,
But no one truly knows what its like,
What it\'s like to constantly feel the pain,
The pain of not physical effect, but of mental effect.

After all is out she hopes it\'s finally over,
The pain should be over she thinks,
But the pain is far from over,
The pain is soon to get worse.

For now comes the pain she has been dreading,
Been dreading since she was merely 13,
Now she must face him,
Face the man, who took away the innocence,
The innocence of a 13-year-old girl.

The doctors tell her she's depressed,
That with some medicine she will be all better,
That the medicine should help,
But how can she take pills
Pills should help the pain,
The pain of the memories that comes back everyday.

The memories of that night are gruesome,
For she is the only one who truly knows,
Who knows how much of a prisoner she felt like,
Everywhere she turns, the memories are there,
The horrible memories of the night of hell.
