Evolution

by Wings Of Flames   May 9, 2006

Are you of thus blackened soul?
Do you hark when angels sing?
Are you stabbed with regret?
With a blade's stunning sting?

Do you run mascara?
From eyes to your cheek?
Are you chained to a slave?
Do you listen when Satan speaks?

Condemned to a presence,
Of hell from an age,
Are we there as of now?
Are we puppets to a stage?

Do you sleep to the peace?
Of bombs closed to your ears,
Are you there when friends are gone?
Do you surrender to your fears?

Salvation of your sins,
Your words closed to the priest,
In the box to heaven,
Words to say the least,

A portrait of your daughter,
Lost far above the sky,
You told her she was nothing,
And held her breath to let her die,

Is this our evolution?
Death? War? And Drugs?
Our heros aren't sincere,
Shall we pull the plug?
