In my dreams

Lay my head upon the pillow
Watching the light pour through my window
Fall into the darkest deep
Subside into a dreamful sleep
When your face appears to me
It is all the my mind can see
Joining hands; me and you
Forever united; us two
In the day or in the night
Constantly there holding me tight
Always next to you; by your side
While golden light glares on us alone
Watching the ever crashing tide
Walking along the moon lit beach
Never to far out of reach
From reality there is a smile upon my face
For now we are dancing with such grace
This love of ours, in more then a dream, is shown
As I slumber we are on the moon
My wonderful dream ending soon
Together we soar; never letting each other go
Hoping so much this moment would slow
The invading morning light is coming near
But leaving this dream is nothing to fear
Because when I awaken you are there
Awaiting me with open arms of care
To hold me close in reality
After leaving my mental tranquility
