Live in the Moment

by Ashley   May 9, 2006

It's not for just a day
It's for always.
You've gotta live
Like it's your last day.

You live in a moment
Where you can look back and say
"I'm glad I took that risk"
And still feel that way every day.

You take that risk
You take that chance
You look in their eyes and say,
"Would you like to dance?"

In that moment,
You were once alive.
You lived in the moment,
And to repeat, you strive.

We don't have much time,
Life could be over tomorrow.
You see, life is to short
To live it in such sorrow.

If you ever had a moment
To prove your love to another,
Don't keep it inside,
It's not worth the bother.

Let your true love
Know that they are.
Let them know
They are your star.

Life is way too short
To not let your love be known.
Take her in your arms,
And let her know, she's you're home.

Let her know
That you love her.
Don't waste that love
On another.

Let her know
You're heart is full.
Let each coming moment
Be anything but dull.

Live in every moment.
You'll thank me, I'll bet.
Because my friend, life's too short
To live it with regrets!
