that the year we spent together was a lie
and i died a little inside...

Time went on and we went our separate ways
finding new loves along the way
missing each other, but not showing it much
and i used my new love as a band-aid, as a crutch...

Six months i waited for you
never knowing what you were going to do
with every new girl you got with, i felt pain
fearing I'd never have you again...

All along Ive missed the way you held me
and kissed away my fears
I miss the way you looked at me
and brush away my tears...
