Long forgotten

by Gothic Princess   May 9, 2006

Long forgotten days of yesterday, summer was our friend
Days of summer sunshine warming my skin

Days of laughter and building clubhouses, only to have it come down in a breathtaking summer
rain storm

long forgotten night of staying up too late, awaking @ noon only to do it again the next night
long forgotten dreams ones of young naïve dreams of a hopeless young girl
in herself naïve only trying to escape

long forgotten tears that still are shed, only now in remembrance

long forgotten words from a poetâ??s heart
ever so tangible upon tear stained sheets of paper

long forgotten are the ones who gave up because life had screwed them over one too many times

long forgotten are those days where I knew who I was
when I still had you
when I was still your baby girl

long gone are those days
I miss so much,
I miss you daddyâ?¦
