On She Pushes

by caleb   May 9, 2006

They've been together
for half a year
all her fears
held deep inside
the make up she wears
is only to hide
the bruises he gave her
On she pushes

No matter what the torment
no matter what kind of hell
he submits her to
she never strays far
from his eyes
On she pushes

No matter the pain
and fear of more violence
and even though he doesnt seem to care
she loves him
On she pushes

He is so violent yet
he is so right
So she says "Its worth the fight"

Locked away in her room
she crys, she weeps
yet him she keeps
and so she pushes on
maybe someday she'll win the fight
until then she pushes to survive another night
