The Road You Take

by **MIMI**   May 9, 2006

Walking down a one way road, you've taken a wrong turn,
You cannot go back and change it, so from this you have to learn.
There are many different turnings that you have to choose to take,
For the good and the bad, and everyone elses sake.
People in your life, you know if their friendships true,
If you take the wrong road, they always stick with you.
Help you fight your demons, your most terrorfying fears,
Cuddle you when your hurting, and always wipe your tears.
We take a turn for the best and visit beautiful sights,
Yet some go the other way, and have many sleepless nights.
But where ever you seem to go, love is usually around,
No matter what pain your in, a friend is always found.
If you think everyone has turned their backs on you,
Take a minute to think, you most likely turned your back on them too.
If you feel you have taken the wrong route, dont give up fighting your way,
Because there is always a chance ahead, to give you a better day.
